Life seems demoralizing as injustice continues to seep into every corner of the world and we grow weary. We ask ourselves, “How much longer must we wait?” The good news is that Christmas is coming: Christ will be with us. In reality, Christmas is a reminder that Christ is already here, we are waiting no longer, and we tell the stories to remember that the presence of the holy is in our lives and is real. God waits with us.
